Glitches in the Void

Cameron Caceres AKA Glitches in the Void approaches music as an exploration of how sound behaves when harmony, timbre, rhythm, space, and resonance interact as a living system. As a bassist, composer, and producer, he is drawn to music that exists between structure and discovery, where a bass note can shift an entire harmonic field, texture can become harmony, and production becomes part of the composition.

His work is informed by Ecological Harmonic Morphology (EHM), a framework he has developed for understanding these changing relationships. Through EHM, Caceres treats composition as an evolving sonic environment, working with pitch collections, resonance, overtone interaction, spectral density, register, and spatial depth to shape form. His recordings invite close listening, allowing musical structures to emerge gradually through the changing behavior of sound.
